Olivia and Alexander started their wedding weekend with a low-key welcome party featuring a pizza party and in Beyonces words, “denim on denim on denim”. Her earrings custom made portraits oof her dogs, her blue satin gown and her cape made for a *chefs kiss* perfect outfit for the occasion.

Is there anything more magical than celebrating your love at your childhood home? That’s exactly what Olivia and Alexander did on a beautiful late September day just north of Charlottesville. This day was full of sentimental touches and an epic dance party at the bride’s childhood home.

Their day started at The Inn at Little Washington where the ladies got all dolled up and shortly after, Olivia and Alexander shared a sentimental moment for their first look and private vows. The remainder of the day was spent on the beautiful farm where guests were driven up the tree lined drive and greeted with mountain views and horses enjoying the afternoon.

As their ceremony began, the sun peeked out from behind the clouds as the bride made her grand entrance down the hill to “Here Comes the Sun.” Their cocktail hour was full of fun with fresh oysters, digging up the buried bourbon, a champagne tower, and a custom bar menu showcasing their drinks named after their two dogs. 

The remainder of their evening was full of their love for each other, for their guests, and for an incredible dance party. As guests entered the beautiful sailcloth tent for the reception, they were welcomed by plants and flowers from the bride’s garden adorning the entrance to the tent and handwritten notes placed at each seat.

Olivia and Alexander joyfully entered to the “Theme from Jurassic Park” before close friends and family made touching speeches and enjoyed their dinner.

To kick off the dance floor, they danced with their friends to “This Must Be The Place” played live by the band under the sparkling disco balls. The black and white checkered dance floor remained packed all evening with the exception of quick breaks for late night snacks and delicious cake. To end their magical evening, Olivia and Alexander shared a private last dance to “Tiny Dancer” as their guests lined up outside the tent to send them off as husband and wife. Here’s to many more dances for you two!
